Gas Chromatography

GC (Gas Chromatography) Gas chromatography (GC) is a technical instrument that first introduced in the 1950’s. GC is a dynamic method to detect and separate the easily-evaporated organic compounds from inorganic gas compounds in a mixture. Significantly developed technologies in electronic, computer and columns has result in lower detectable limits and increased accuracy in compounds identification through increased resolution of analysis techniques GC uses gas as its moving phases.
Herzog Mini Vapour Pressure

Herzog Mini Vapour Pressure – 972 (HVP 972) Herzog’s (HVP 972) is the modern analytical instrument designed for accurate determination of vapor pressure methods of ASTM D 5191, D 6378, EN 13016, IP 394, IP 481. Provides quick result of accurate vapor pressure up to 1.000 kPa (145 psi) in 0-100ºC (32º - 212º F). HVP 972 increases test productivity with excellent repetition and reproductivity. It’s very ideal for volatility specification test of both automotive and aviation gasoline, turbine fuels, other light distillate petroleum products, hydrocarbon solvents and chemical compounds.
Karl Fischer Titration

Karl Fischer Titration is a classic titration method in analytical chemistry that uses coulometric or volumetric titration to determine trace amounts of water in a sample. It was invented in 1935 by the German chemist Karl Fischer. It gives results it high accuracy and precision – normally in 1% or water, for example 3,00% will show exact numbers as 2,97 – 3,03%.
Distilasi

Is the process of separating the components or substances from a liquid mixture by selective boiling and condensation. In this process, a liquid mixture is heated into vapor then condensed back into liquid form. Liquid subtances with lower boiling point will vaporize in shorter time – based on the theory that in a liquid mixture each component will evaporize at its boiling point. This method is one of Chemical Transfer Mass Operation unit.
